2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that:

  1. You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
  2. You agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  3. You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
  4. The information you provide to WoolfBlades is accurate and complete.
  5. You will use this website lawfully.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use this website or place an order.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit or exclude any consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under South African law.

3. PRODUCTS

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, colours and prices displayed on our website are accurate.

However, minor variations may occur, particularly where products contain natural materials or are handmade.

Product images are provided for illustration and may differ slightly from the actual product due to:

  • Photography conditions;
  • Screen settings;
  • Natural variations in materials;
  • Manufacturing and finishing processes; and
  • Individual product characteristics.

Where a product is handmade, no two products may be completely identical.

4. PRODUCT SAFETY AND RESPONSIBLE USE

Some WoolfBlades products are traditional shaving instruments containing extremely sharp edges.

Customers are responsible for using such products carefully, responsibly and in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product.

Sharp grooming equipment should:

  • Be kept away from children;
  • Be handled carefully;
  • Be stored safely when not in use;
  • Not be used for purposes for which it was not designed; and
  • Be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

WoolfBlades will not be responsible for injury, damage or loss resulting from misuse, negligent use or use contrary to supplied instructions, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

Nothing in this clause limits any statutory consumer rights relating to unsafe, defective or unsuitable goods.

5. PRICES

All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR), unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where applicable, prices include VAT.

If VAT is applicable to a transaction, the applicable VAT amount will be reflected in accordance with South African tax requirements.

Prices may change from time to time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, subject to circumstances permitted by law.

We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors.

If an obvious pricing error occurs and an order has been placed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before processing the order and provide you with the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.

6. PLACING AN ORDER

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

An automated order confirmation may be sent to you after your order is submitted.

An order is not necessarily accepted merely because you have received an automated confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where permitted by law, including where:

  • A product is unavailable;
  • There is an obvious pricing or product-description error;
  • We are unable to verify payment;
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected;
  • An incorrect delivery address has been provided; or
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent fulfilment.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, you will receive an applicable refund in accordance with South African law and our refund policy.

7. PAYMENT

Payment must be made using the payment methods made available on the website.

We may use third-party payment providers to process transactions.

WoolfBlades does not ordinarily receive or store your complete card details where payment is processed by a third-party payment provider.

Payment processing is subject to the terms and security procedures of the relevant payment provider.

An order will generally only be processed once payment has been successfully authorised or otherwise confirmed.

8. DELIVERY

We will deliver products to the address supplied by you during checkout.

Delivery times displayed on the website are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • Courier delays;
  • Public holidays;
  • Weather;
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
  • Remote delivery locations;
  • Customs or international shipping requirements; or
  • Events outside our reasonable control.

Where applicable, delivery charges will be displayed during checkout or otherwise communicated before the transaction is completed.

Goods remain subject to the applicable consumer protections under South African law during delivery.

Customers must ensure that the delivery address and contact information supplied to us are correct.

9. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Where WoolfBlades accepts international orders, the customer is responsible for complying with applicable import requirements in the destination country.

International orders may be subject to:

  • Customs duties;
  • Import taxes;
  • VAT;
  • Customs clearance charges;
  • Restrictions on particular products; and
  • Other fees imposed by the destination country.

These charges are generally the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

WoolfBlades cannot guarantee that a product will be permitted into every country.

10. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

WoolfBlades will comply with consumers’ rights under applicable South African consumer law.

If goods are defective, unsafe, not of the type or quality reasonably contemplated, or otherwise fail to comply with applicable statutory requirements, you may have rights to repair, replacement or refund as provided by law.

For unwanted goods, cancellations, exchanges and other returns, our separate Returns & Refunds Policy applies.

Nothing in our Returns & Refunds Policy removes or restricts rights provided to consumers under the CPA, ECTA or any other applicable law.

Where an online transaction qualifies for a statutory cooling-off right, that right will apply in accordance with the applicable legislation.

11. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you believe that a product purchased from WoolfBlades is defective or does not conform to the agreement, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • Your name and contact details;
  • A description of the problem; and
  • Photographs or other information where reasonably requested.

We will assess the issue and determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer law.

A product will not be regarded as defective merely because it has been damaged through misuse, negligence, accidental damage, improper maintenance or normal wear and tear, where applicable.

12. HANDMADE AND NATURAL PRODUCTS

Certain WoolfBlades products may be handmade or contain natural materials.

Natural materials may contain variations in:

  • Grain;
  • Colour;
  • Texture;
  • Pattern;

20. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under South African law.

Subject to applicable law, WoolfBlades will not be responsible for losses arising solely from:
